Perhaps when we get Lyle Taylor people will stop trying to get us to sign any more strikers, as we'll then already have got Porter, Ironside, and Taylor available for the first 2 or 3 league matches, with Miller and de Girolamo to complete the line-up when fit.

5 strikers fighting for 1 or 2 striking positions (depends how we line-up). Surely, that is enough, and as much as we can afford at present.

As I see it, we've a similar story on the wings (if we play with 2 wingers), with Brandy, Murphy, McFadzean and Flynn available.

People forget that players are adaptable - they don't just play one position. The manager could decide to play Brandy or Murphy up front, or Miller or Taylor on the wing. If you look up their CV's, you'll find they've all played there. Add them into the available list for striker and wingers, and we are well equipped in both of these areas!

Ironside needs to be loaned out he's been poor this pre-season, I went to Bury Saturday and watched the Raith Rovers match last week he was very poor.
