According to the dailystar we are looking to get Dave Kitson of portsmouth.
I imagine they think this because he accompanied Beattie to the play-off semi at bramall lane.

Someone had to keep Beattie company while he sat on the side lines!

James Beattie will not stay at the club, Danny was not happy with the red at all plus hes really not the player he used to be is he? Dave Kitson & Greg Halford to sign for United next season whatever league we end up in, Pompey need to off load players also Beattie to stay with the Blades as coaching staff. {Ed013's Note - Halford is interesting a lot of Championship clubs and his fee is to be around 400,000 - 500,000 I wouldn't be surprised if he was at his new club by the end of next week}

United to try and sign Stewart Beaven from Wycombe but face competition from Charlton and Preston. Beaven has scored 25 goals in 44 games. Probably will go to Charlton unless we go up.

Been told by my mate (who knew about the Slew deal last year before everyone else) that Danny Wilson's after some scottish striker called Mark Mcnulty and and an 18 year old defender called Luke Nolan.

Also, Andy Taylor, Ertl and possibly Simmonsen will leave the club when their contract runs out next month

Hope you're wrong, as an Owls fan Simmo is the keeper I dream of you lot having!

Surely Blunts are better off without Beattie. He hasn't scored a goal for anyone in about three years. He should be done for fraud for saying he's a striker. Will they beat Stevenage? Not sure Stevenage are no one's mugs. Having said that I have enjoyed the buzz this season has caused in the city so I won't be too unhappy if Utd stumble through the play-offs and get up.
